PHP Float Glass Ind. Ltd. has been incorporated as a private limited company on 9 April 2003, which has set up with technical assistance with Luoyang Float Glass Technology of China with an annual capacity of 54,000 MT. The project is manufacturing high quality clear and tinted Float Glass Sheets as an import substitute to cater the domestic market and the foreign market as well. The Ind. has been built on a 20-acre of land at Barabkunda, Sitakunda, Chittagong, the main port-city in the country, beside the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. The key technical personnel of PHP Glass have been trained in China and at site for efficient and effective operation of the plant. Glass sheet produced by PHP Glass through float process is better because of absence of waves on surface, bubbles and visible impurities.
